From
Kingston, or points east... take 401 west to Cobourg, exit at
Burnham Street (aka County Rd. 18) go north towards Gores Landing (approx.
13 km) ....proceed through Precious Corners, Camborne, Cold Springs and
Plainville to the flashing red light at the top of the hill (this is a 4-way
stop) ....turn right
on Oak Ridges Drive (aka Cty. Rd. 9) and continue east to the 2nd road on the left which
will be Traill Rd. South (there is a small yellow
country store on the corner).....turn left on Traill Rd. S. and go
approximate 1.5 km to the first farm on the left.... this is Moncton Meadows
- grey and brown house and barns and a field of fat Canadian horses!
From Toronto, or
points west... take 401 east to Port Hope, exit on Hwy 28 north towards
Bewdley (approx. 13 km) turn east on Oak Ridges Drive (aka Cty. Rd 9) and continue to the
flashing red light (this is a 4-way stop) at Country Rd. 18 (aka Burnham Street) where the signs
point to Gores Landing to the left or Cobourg to the right....continue east
on Oak Ridges Drive to the 2nd road on the left which will be Traill Rd.
South (there is a small yellow country store on
the corner).....turn left on Traill Rd. S. and go approximate 1.5 km to the
first farm on the left.... this is Moncton Meadows - grey and brown house
and barns and a field of fat Canadian horses!
