Standing only 14.1 hh "Nyx" is a very typey, strongly built little black stallion that brings the old bloodlines and style of Royal, Lou and Pitro to our breeding program.  He has proven his ability to pass on his kind, gentle temperament but not necessarily his size (his first son, Teo, has taken his dams height and will likely finish closer to 16 hh than 14 hh).   Nyx has been trained to ride, exhibiting great style and willingness to learn, he will be taken out on the wooded trails this summer and continue his training, perhaps in harness as well.

This traditional gelding, standing 14.2 hh has extensive show experience in both ride and drive classes.  While Hero is not for sale, he is shown as an example of the classic type of Little Iron Horse that we like and are breeding.  Hero is my favourite trail horse....always eager to go and lead the way through anything and over any terrain.  Driving cross country and through cones courses are always a thrill with this little horse with his speed and agility.  His style and attitude made him a winner in every class he entered.

This calm, easy-going gelding is well started with his basic ground work in tack, has been ground driven in full harness and is to be trained for riding this spring. He has reached his full height at 15.2 hh, weighs an estimated 1100 lbs...with a deep chest, strong legs, good feet and generally excellent health.  A winning attitude makes him a delight to work with and we expect to have him out on trail rides this summer.  Regan is well matched with his brother Saxon and we plan to train the two "red" boys for pleasure driving at some later time.

Saxon is a lively gelding, well started with his basic ground work and eager to learn.  He has been worked in tack and is ready to be ridden.  A recent growth spurt has him standing at a solid 16hh, which will likely be his finished height while still filling out from his current 1100 lbs.  He has a deep chest, strong legs, great feet.... he is in excellent health with no vices or issues. His willing attitude makes him a delight to work with and we hope to have him out on trail rides later this summer.  Saxon is well matched with his brother Regan and we plan to train the two "red" boys for pleasure driving at some later time.

"Teddy" is the first son from our stallion, Nyx.  He is going to be tall.....currently a strong 15.2 hh, at a lean 1000 lbs....  he will likely fill out a lot more in the next year and finish around 15.3-16hh. He has terrific feet and all the other great characteristics of the Canadian breed. While he still has the a bit of the "youngster" look he  is maturing quickly and has a good friendly attitude.  He is very eager and quick to learn, has lovely movement, is very athletic and progressing well with his training.  He is another one that we will be riding later this summer.  Teddy lives outside 24/7 in a group of mares and geldings without any issues.
